All the hype and publicity about the Art of the Brick is completely justified – whether you’re mad about LEGO or not, the Brick Lane exhibition is a great family day-out and well worth a visit.
Nathan Sawaya has created some amazing sculptures which are somehow incredibly life-like. He displays a broad range and variety of LEGO models and mosaics and some of them are genuinely thought provoking, and the short briefing note next to each model also helps explain what it’s all about.
I’ll be sharing some photos of the best models over the coming weeks. The exhibition starts with The Hand – “it all starts with one Brick”.
And if you do go, you can always find time for a delicious curry in Brick Lane after the exhibition! We did.
